lyrics

Woke up this morning
And cleared my eyes
Thought we found nirvana
Then I realized
Nothing had changed
It was all the same
President's fault
We're not to blame
Well Mr. President
That's insane
Pull your own strings
And use your own brain
It's a shame the way
Y'use (you use) pain to gain fame

Shake the money tree
For democracy
Jails, prisons, bombs
And the military
Say what you mean
Don't mean what you said
Your fightin' words
Are infecting my head
Well Mr. Bomb Maker
That's insane
Pull your own strings
And use your own brain
It's a shame the way
Y'use (you use) blame to make gains.
And fear.......

Our country's got the money
And the weapons to prove
They are the threat
Now everybody lose
People in the streets
All across the town
Take the power back
And slow it down
Slow it Down, Slow it Down, Slow it down, Slow it down
Never been a better time
To fight, now
Represent dissent
Right now

about

postfixE Lemont, Illinois

We were responding to our environment by taking solace in the practice of recording. Theory was largely disregarded for an experimental approach to producing musical collage soundscapes. Our live performances are more like guerilla theater than rock-n-roll. cheers. ... more
